Q: Do you recommend trying the little plastic tips for a cat’s nails that they sell in the pet stores?

A: You are referring to soft claws. You can read about them here.

Many clients use them, and we find the soft claws a much better alternative to declawing a cat. They go on easily and have a fast-drying glue that keeps them on for a while.

The soft claws come in designer colors and various sizes to fit all cats. I think it is a very good product to help protect furniture from being clawed without causing the trauma that a declaw causes.
