Homeopathic Remedies for ADD?

Q: Is there a general homeopathic remedy for ADD? I refuse to continue my child on stimulant medications for his issues with concentration, disorganization, sleeping, oversensitive personality and mood swings.

A: There are two products I know about which are combination homeopathic remedies for ADD: "Attend" by Vaxa and "Synaptol.”

In addition, massage before bed is a good way to help him calm down his restless mind. It’s also important to check for potential food allergies that could be contributing to his ADD. Try to make an appointment with a local homeopathic doctor for this.  You can search for a homeopath here: http://www.homeopathycenter.org/find-homeopath

There is a book called "Ritalin-Free Kids" by Dr. Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman. Dr. Judyth is considered top in the field for using homeopathy to treat people with ADD. Here is her website: http://healthyhomeopathy.com/.
