How to Transfer Cell Phone Photos to Your Computer

Q: How do I get pictures from my camera phone to the computer?

A: Just about every cell phone comes with a USB port and cable. You will need to plug the phone into the PC using the USB cable.

Once the two devices are connected, the PC will recognize the phone. A browse window will appear; if it doesn’t, click on “Start” then “My Computer.”

Find the drive associated with your phone listed in the menu, and open it.

Now you will see the file structure of the phone. You will need to navigate into the picture folder and selecdt your pictures. Right-click and copy, then right-click and paste into the location where you want to save the photos on your PC.
